Timber
Timber is a natural product that requires regular oiling to maintain its structural integrity and appearance. How often the timber will need oiling will be dependent on the environment that the timber is in (exposed to elements or completely enclosed patio) and type of timber you have purchased. When timber starts to look or feel dry is the best time to oil. If the timber starts to discolor or crack, it requires oiling immediately. The timber may need light sand prior to oiling depending on the condition. Segals recommend
